Fresh Off the Bench!
This SRT cello, completed just a few weeks ago, is thoughtfully inspired by a Peter Wamsley, who built in the 1700s and is considered by some to be the “father of the English Cello”. It features a beautifully balanced tone and delivers a warm sound, all while providing a quick response that enhances playability for musicians. This 16 3/8 inch Martignacco viola was completed last month and was inspired by a Jacob Steiner tenor viola. It has become a favorite model for Shelby Martignacco due to its consistently warm and rich tone. For more photos of this instruments and others, click here
